Sports Psychiatry
There are unique challenges faced by athletes and their families with mental health concerns, which may be different from the general population.
Treatment method
Mental health treatment for athletes addresses the complexities facing athletes and their families while being culturally competent.
- I believe strongly in the mind-body connection and have been able to harness the powers of the mind in positive ways to enhance performance, overcome injuries, and work towards life transitions such as trades and even retirement (forced or otherwise).
- My goal as a practitioner is to teach and empower athletes to live healthier lives and fortify families, organizations, and the community.
- Treatment will involve extensive evaluation/assessment of presenting concern, coordination of care with invested parties (at discretion of individual/organization), development of treatment plan.
