Q: How can you get rid of toxic fear?
- Fear that results in suffering comes from ego and expectations.
- Passive fear is sadness, anxiety resulting in inaction. - Active fear is anger resulting in harmful actions, loss of intellect, person is no longer mindful or present. - Fear (active/passive) can take you away from reality and makes you useless in the moment. How to fix it: Awareness counters this uselessness. To create awareness use box breathing in the moment for balance. Love (especially of yourself) can counter fear over time and make you courageous, bold, and requires action.

Meditation is not possible during anger. Meditation is only possible when you are able to be present and bring your awareness back. Q: How do you rule your mind
You can control your mind by being a good person and decreasing mental conflicts

Q: Why do we get sorrow when we want happiness?
- We create sorrow because we don’t know how to regulate our mind and body. When your mind lies to you it creates suffering by damaging your self-image, relationships, and experiences.
- When you rule your mind it is your best friend.
- When your mind rules you it is your worst enemy.
- As humans our capacity to destroy is matched only by our capacity to heal.
- The body continually attempts to reach balance and we can assist our body's healing process.
How to fix it:
- By identifying errors in your thoughts you can identify and change errors of thought.
- Changes in thought can lead to changes in behavior.
- This allwos you greater capacity to regulate your emotions and creat happiness.

Q: Why is the bad stuff easier to believe?

Q: Why do all mental health providers ask about sleep?
Sleep is used as a barometer for how well your brain is functioning. Many things can affect your sleep:
- Stress
- All types of mental illness
- Physical illness
- Medications and Substance abuse.
Once your have poor quality of sleep or low quantity of sleep your brain begins a negative feedback loop making a bad situation worse. To interrupt this negative feedback loop we need to fix underline problem (if possible) and implement sleep hygiene. Sleep hygiene is a natural way to train your body and mind to get better quality sleep.
Q: How long is the first appointment?
The first appointment is usually 2 hours long.
